ARCKO SYMPHONIC ENSEMBLE: CHAMBER VIEW 3

In another all Australian program the Arcko soloists focus on the chamber music of Nigel Butterley AM, one of Australia's most distinguished composers and Arcko's honorary patron. Featuring Arcko's core members, Butterley's works Of Wood (cello), Forest I (vla & piano), Forest II (tp & piano) and Laudes for mixed ensemble will have new life breathed into them and will be complimented by Liza Lim's Veils, Tim Dargaville's Invisible Dances and Helen Gifford's Time and Time again.

TWO WORLDS

Thank you to all who attended the 'Two Worlds' concert on April 6 at The Thornbury Theatre with Arcko Symphonic Ensemble, Glasfrosch, Silo String Quartet and A Lonely Crowd. Also thanks to all who supported the fundraising efforts to help create our documentary showcasing some of Australia's talent. The night was a complete success, and the documentary is currently in production - we'll keep you informed of its progress!
